Brief history and back ground for its establishment
The name of this office was O/o the Conservator of Forests, Angul Circle which was established during the year 1948 with Headquarters at Angul having jurisdiction over 7Nos territorial Forest Divisions i.e. Angul, Dhenkanal, Athgarh, Keonjhar, Karanjia, Baripada and Athmallik (T) Division. During Re-organization of Forests Deptt. W.E.F. 01.10.2003 Karanjia, Baripada and Keonjhar Division have been transferred from this Circle & now this Circle constitute the Divisions i.e. Angul, Athmallik, Dhenkanal, Athgarh, Cuttack Satkosia (WL) Division, Angul and Working Plan. The head of the office has been upgraded W.E.F. 06.11.2009 & accordingly the name of this office is O/o the R.C.C.F. Angul Circle, Angul.

For this office 10 AM to 5 PM with launch break 1.30 PM to 2 PM for public- every day from 3.30 PM to 5 PM except Govt. holidays and during summer session the working hours is from 7.00 AM to 1 PM without launch break.

Grievances Redress Mechanision
Grievance of the public is attended in very Saturday and the allegation is disposed off immediately.
