1) Mission/ Vision of the Public Authority:
The first and foremost duties of District Employment Exchange is to co-ordinate and implement all programmes of Employment assistance in the district, like registration of names of unemployed youths, placement, Vocational Guidance, Collection of Employment Market Information and compilation of data, Survey and studies in the district, Inspection and enforcement of Employment Exchange (Compulsory Notification of Vacancies) Act. 1959 and Rules, 1060 and monitor the generation of employment both in public and private sectors.

3) Working Hours the Public Authority: 10 A.M. to 5 P.M.
