1. Aim & Objectives of the Organization:
To provide basic minimum facilities like provide connectivity to rural habitation and repair & construction of rural buildings.
2. Mission/ Vision:
To improve road communication in rural areas of Odisha, by ensuring complementarities with categories of roads under other Departments and institutions with a view to promoting economic growth, easy movement of goods and people, access to markets, social infrastructures etc.
3. Brief History and Background for its establishment:
The Executive Engineer, Rural Works Division, Angul in the district come into functioning with effect on 29.08.1991 consisting of 5 sub-divisions and 15 sections.
4. Organization Chart:
The Office of the Executive Engineer, Rural Works Division, Angul is equipped with EE-1 No., DAO-1 No., 5 Nos. Assist Engineer, 1 No. of Junior Engineer (P.I.U), JE-16 Nos., 1 No. of Head Clerk, 1 No. Junior Clerk and Draughtsman-1 No. etc.
5. Duties to be performed:
Tender case, Road work, Bridge work, PMGSY work etc.

8. Working Hours both for Office and Public:
