RTI CMM bagged the eINDIA Citizen Choice Award 2010
Sri S.N. Tripathi,IAS, Commissioner-cum-Secretary and Nodal Officer, RTI, I&PR Department, Govt. of Orissa sharing his views in Thought Leader’s Conclave at eINDIA 2010 Awards on 5th Aug 2010 (Middle).	BBSR/02.09.10 : RTI Central Monitoring Mechanism by Information and Public Relations Department, Govt. of Orissa has been awarded number 2 in the Government to Government in eGov for the eINDIA Citizen Choice Award 2010. The event ceremony was attended by Sri S.N. Tripathi,IAS, Commissioner-cum-Secretary and Nodal Officer, RTI, I&PR Department, Govt. of Orissa and accompanied by Sri Bibekananda Biswal, Chief Monitoring Officer, RTI Implementation, I&PR Department, Govt. of Orissa on 5th Aug 2010 at Hyderabad International Convention Center, Hyderabad, India.

RTI Central Monitoring Mechanism(CMM) named as "Loka Soochana" is a Central Monitoring Mechanism by Govt. of Orissa to ensure the implementation of Right To Information for all public authorities related to Govt. of Orissa. This is developed with an objective to provide single point access of all RTI related information catering to section 4[1][b], section 25 of RTI ACT, 2005 in an uniform manner. This project is monitored by Department of Information & Public Relations,Govt. of Orissa [Nodal Department of Govt. of Orissa for RTI Implementation] in collaboration with Luminous Infoways.
